Building insulation materials are used to reduce the heat transfer and energy consumption of buildings. They are usually installed on the walls, roofs, and floors of buildings. Common building insulation materials include polystyrene board, polyurethane board, foam concrete, rock wool board, glass wool board, etc. The main production processes are as follows:

Polystyrene (EPS) insulation board production process: EPS particles are made into EPS insulation board through a series of processes such as expansion, drying, falling mold, molding and cutting.

Production process of prefabricated polyurethane insulation board: Continuous spraying process is adopted. The polyurethane stock solution is sprayed on the surface of aluminum foil first, and then the fiber mesh cloth and the prefabricated polyurethane foaming device are placed, and then the molding, curing, cutting and other processes are carried out.

Production process of glass wool insulation board: the glass raw silk is made into glass wool felt through multiple processes such as cleaning, spraying, drying, opening, fixing thickness and slurry composite, and then the glass wool insulation board is made into hot pressing, sizing, cutting and other procedures.

Mineral wool insulation board production process: molten mineral fiber and insulating agent mixed preparation into fiber felt, and then through the molding, sizing, pressure curing, surface treatment and other processes made of mineral wool insulation board.

Different production processes need to be determined according to different insulation materials. Thermal insulation materials play an important role in improving the energy efficiency of buildings and reducing environmental pollution.
